Equipment needed:

Urgently needed: a Radio Station Base for communication with forest rangers. They patrol the last low elevation forest, trying to save it from rampant timber poaching. The cost of the base station is about 150.000 Philippine Pesos (ca. 3000 US$) per year. The Philippine Endemic Species Conservation Project solicits your help.

We also still need a digital photo camera for our field station.
 
 
 

* We are limited in our present activities primarily by funding, and consequently we are constrained in terms of staff. This restricts the PESCP in regard of: 
1.) The scope of activities we would ideally implement on the NW Panay peninsula and in the Central Panay Mountains. 
2.) The strategies that we would ideally employ given the necessary resources. 
3.) Time in terms of both man/ hours available for attending to the overall execution of a range of programs.

* Unsere Aktivitäten werden gegenwärtig vor allem durch Mittelbegrenzung und als Folge davon durch einen verkürzten Mitarbeiter-Stab eingeschränkt. Dies begrenzt die Handlungsfähigkeit des PESCP in bezug auf: 
1.) den Bereich der Aktivitäten, die wir idealerweise auf der NW-Panay Halbinsel und in den zentralen Bergen von Panay umsetzen könnten. 
2.) Die Strategien, die wir optimalerweise anwendeten, wenn wir die nötigen Ressourcen hätten. 
3.) Zeit, sowohl in bezug auf verfügbare Helfer als auch deren Zeit, um die laufenden Programme umfassend durchzuführen.
